We ordered from Garden Grocer for our last few trips. Their prices aren't much more than home, and it was so convenient to just have bell services bring it to the room after it was delivered. Plus, you can order snacks and other groceries.

Some of the bottles of booze were like 20+ for a 12oz.

So I suggest using garden grocer, which we did, had 48 beer delivered ... for two weeks ...

Another good suggestion if you like vodka, the Norway pavilion in Epcot, you can buy some very good Norwegian Vodko $20 for 40oz.
$15 for a six pack is the normal price of beer where I'm from. I have no problem paying that at the resort. That was the price at CSR on our last trip. Previous trips it was about $35 for 6. At $15 there is no way I'm wasting time going off property for beer.

A large bottle of beer was $6 at the Beach Club on Saturday. I didn't see any six packs.

That is the going rate at WDW which is crazy and has most who want beer making a road trip.

However in Dec 2011 the price of beer at CSR went down to $15 for 6. It seems some resorts have done this and some haven't.

If Disney would use their heads, make beer and other potables more reasonable.... More people would buy on site ....

Why hose the guests... They are already paying good money for the resort and food... Stop them from buying groceries, alcohol and drinks off site by lowering their prices ...

Absolutely! I think that's why some resorts lowered the price to $15. I'm from western Canada so $15 seems fair for a 6 pack, but I guess those of you who are used to paying half that still feel gouged.

Normally I have about 2 beers per year, since I am a flight instructor and can never drink. But since we are going to WDW and not driving at all... I have ordered a 24 pack from Garden Grocer (along with other stuff to meet their minimum). Anyone staying at POR 9/21-9/29 wanna help us get rid of them?
