Thanksgiving Day at the World

We are going to be there the day before thanksgiving and the day of thanksgiving. This is our way of not having to mess with family drama on turkey day this year. What offerings are there for a good turkey day meal? Is there anything special I should be looking for? I want to go ahead and get an ADR set. We will be staying at our home DVC resort for the 1 night. TIA

Teresa

We had thanksgiving dinner at the YC last year and it was pretty good. Not all the restaurants do a holiday meal. I think I found out which ones by googling "thanksgiving meals at disney or something similar." I eventually found a list on the WDW website that had the restaurants that offered a traditional holiday meal.

Although its a couple years old this gives you a good idea of some potential options:

Your options may also be limited due to lack of ADR spots available now that your just over 90 days out.

We always do Chef Mickey's as they have a traditional thanksgiving buffet and it makes for a more memorable day.

We will be there over Thanksgiving as well. I have planned 2 turkey day meals, one on Wednesday at Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom and our meal on Thanksgiving Day will be at the Garden Grill in Epcot. Both have traditional style meals for the holiday.

thank you for moving the thread and thanks for everyone's help I called and they gave me a list and surpisingly Narcoossee's was on the list for this year as was california grill. So we made a reservation for Narcoosee's. I am waiting for the cali grill to open to get that for the night before. I live in Florida an hour away from the world now so we never plan our trips very far in advance anymore lol. Oh well.
