Cargo Shorts in Signature Restaurants

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if cargo shorts are ok in signature restaurants? I'm not talking about the big ballooning pockets, but those pressed and flat on the short. Would this be considered a "dress short" under the dress code standard?

Thanks for the help!

Disney prohibits only torn clothing, swimwear and cutoff shorts. I have never heard of anyone being turned away for wearing cargo shorts, puffy or smooth.

Dress code

If you are referring to "Bermuda" shorts I think they look very stylish!

I'm a cargo short and t shirt kind of guy, and I've never had any problems. I did feel slightly out of place at Citricos--but didn't make the food taste any less amazing.

1) As mentioned already above, no problem.
2) Besides, it saves the environment !!!
3) With all the pockets, you don't need a Styrofoam doggie-bag box.

I've been in just about every Signature in WDW (except V&A) in cargo shorts and a tshirt.

Never had any issues. I don't wear offensive tshirts though. Most of them feature a subdued classic Mickey or Donald.

I would feel fine entering most of the Sigs I can think of wearing shorts and a polo. I would probably switch up to slacks though if I had the opportunity.

Thanks to everyone for the responses! This really helps!

I especially like the idea to use the pockets for food!

We have AD's for Flying Fish and Artist Point, so golf shirt and shorts it is!

Thanks again!

Yes, it's fine. My husband wore cargo shorts in all of the signatures.
