Budget Shuttle to Port

Can anyone confirm that Budget has a shuttle from their lot in Canaveral to the port?

Yes, I dropped off there two weeks ago. One caveat -- if you get there during a high volume return time, which on my return was 11:30 am, you might have to wait for several shuttles. I ended up using a cab.

A bit of advice...
While there is a shuttle, it is often very full of people coming to cruise with their luggage. If you can drop off all of the luggage and your other family members first, once you return the car, you are just a person who needs to get on the shuttle, instead of an entire family with luggage. It has worked well for us, and I usually just go inside, check our family in (I take DH's passport with me), and then we wait leisurely for DH to return from dropping the car. We do the opposite when we disembark, he goes alone to get the car and comes back for us.

We are planning on renting from budget for our cruise, I am curious what cab company did you use and what was the cost of it to get you back to the port? Thanks!!

The guy that I used was picking up somebody else, and I asked if he had extra room in his van, which he did. I don't think he was affiliated with a cab company. He gave me his card, but I didn't keep it. For my family of 4 (plus suitcases) he asked for $5 per person, and I gave him a $5 tip for a total of $25, which was well worth it considering the time he saved us. You might get less with a cab company. I did notice several cabs running up and down Astronaut Boulevard while I was checking out at Budget, mostly from "888" company. I also did a google search for cabs on my phone, and it looks like there are 3 or 4 companies in the area. Check out takes about 10 minutes, so if you call a cab when you pull in, it should get there when you're done.

Did a return at the PC Budget facility on 12/8. Got there about 10:45, had to wait about 5 minutes at the counter to return (don't folks see the numerous signs that say they need to write down their odometer reading) and about 15 minutes for the second shuttle bus to get us to the port, Disney was the third stop. We had an 11:30 port arrival time and walked in the terminal at 11:25.

How is it on the disembark? I have a 12:20 flight, am I going to have any issues? What time do I need to try to be off of the ship by?

Last month had a 11:45 flight and no problems making the flight, even with a 30 minute wait at TSA, using on board checkin service.

We found the drop off to PC was fine via the shuttle to be fine. On the return though there was a shorr wait to get the shuttle back to Budget (about 15min) but the wait to get another rental car (which we had reserved) at the Budget office to drive back to MCO was almost an hour past when we reserved for. Still as long as you're up and off the ship early (I'd do either early breakfast or Cabanas buffet in future) a 12:20 flight should be fine.

Yea, I'm not so worried about the drop off. It's the pick up and back to the airport that concerns me a bit, although I'm sure we'll be fine.
