Senor Frogs

I see they have one of these in Nassau and I fancy stopping and having a drink or two (and getting some souvenirs for the bar in my garden ;-) It seems to get good reviews on Trip Advisor but has anyone here been?

We stopped here on a cruise in 2011. It was ok - a nice spot to stop and have a drink, but it definitely wouldn't be on my to-do list again. Very touristy and pretty pricey... I'm sure there would be some better options somewhere else in Nassau, but if you're looking for somewhere easy and relatively close to the cruise docks (we walked) it could be a good option.

We have been to Senor Frogs twice. It was ok to go in the afternoon, but still a little rowdy. We had drinks and appetizers and had no problems.

We went!

Food was good, drinks were better. If you wander around the straw market for a bit you can usually get some 2 for 1 drink coupons. But as others have said, price a little high and touristy. Also, I would suggest if you have children don't sit at the bar area it is definitely an adult area.

It's a fun place. Our son had his first drink at a Señor Forgs in Cozumel and, whenever we go to a port with an SF we always visit.

Drinks aren't the cheapest, food is okay, nothing great, but the atmosphere is always interesting.

We went to Senor Frogs in Nassau last year. Fun, party atmosphere. We went for a little while to have a drink and just cool off and relax. Pricey, but fun, and you're on vacation, right?

We go every time we are in Nassau and it's a good time Crowd can be a little over the top as the day gets later, which is why we go around 11:30a. Note - I have a 23yr daughter......and would never allow her and just a friend there alone period end of story.

It's literally BAM as soon as you walk off the ship too! They like prime ship real estate...

Many a cruiser's name has been announced repeatedly while the ship sailed away as they were at Senor Frogs... (probably more Cozumel then Nassau cuz that one is like right there in front of the ships...)

Thanks guys :-)

As its just me and the wife, and we will be on an anniversary trip, I think it sounds like the sort of place for us to visit.
I just read on Wiki that they are the only franchise to post a bigger profit for drink than they do for food. I guess that says it all lol

Goes without saying. Cruise is just about all you can eat. Definitely not all you can drink inclusive, and some cruise lines still have a limit even when you buy the drink package. Most cruise lines confiscate your island purchases so most people just catch up I guess at port... Marketing genius really.

I love to people watch so I really enjoy SF. I like to order a drink or two and relax before getting back on the ship. The guy running the liquer store in SanJuan on the pier was shocked when I told him we got to keep our booze. ( I love Disney)

I second the not letting my daughter in there alone!
