Looking for a food or snack that is unique to AK

On each of our trips we try to find something new that we haven't done/tried before. So for our upcoming September trip, we are looking for a new food/snack in each park that we haven't tried before. We're going to try Dole Whips in MK (I know -- crazy that we haven't tried them yet!), school bread in EP (again, crazy that we haven't tried it yet!), and the carrot cake cookie at DHS. But I haven't been able to come up with anything at AK. Are there any unique snacks at AK that aren't available in the other parks? Any suggestions? We've eaten at Rainforest Cafe and will probably be doing Yak and Yeti CS for lunch on the day we go to AK.

Any snack ideas? Thanks!

Personally, I would skip the School Bread and try the Rice Cream in Norway but that's just me. Or, try both!

As for AK, the Kusafiri bakery in Harambe (close to the entrance of the Safari) offers Paw Print brownies and some unique, animal-themed cupcakes.

I haven't heard about the Rice Cream -- that could be good! I have a feeling we might be trying a lot of new foods in EP. :-) Thanks for the info on the Kusafiri bakery -- I didn't see that in the list of food options for AK -- we'll check them out. If all else fails, we may just end up going over to AKL and trying zebra domes!

There's a frozen Chai at Anandapur Tea Company in Animal Kingdom. It was absolutely delicious...and perfect on a hot July day.

The White Chocolate Elephant Cupcake at Kusifari. The basic cupcake probably isn't unique, but the choc elephant is. Or the Cotton Top Tamarin Cupcake.

I agree with the PPs who suggested Kusafari. My favorite is the paw print brownie--I'd go with that!

However, if you're looking specifically for snacks exclusive to each theme park...Dole Whips in the MK are not exclusive to the MK. They are also available at the Polynesian Resort. Not sure if that matters to you or not...but if you want a snack that you can get in the MK and only in the MK, you might want to reconsider the Dole Whip as that option (you should not, however, reconsider trying the Dole Whip in general ).

I second the rice cream at Norway instead of the school bread. I finally tried it last trip and it was okay, but the rice cream is still my fav.

I had the elephant cupcake and while it is unique I didn't care for it. They also have a zebra cupcake besides the cotton top one.

You can only get jungle juice in AK. Harambe Popcorn Kiosk.

Yak and Yeti Food Cafes
Chicken Fried Rice.

Not exclusive to AK but you can get edamame (soy beans) at Bradley Falls. You can also get them in Japan.

Besides the ones mentioned above that's all I could think of.

Wow, all the times I've been in AK and I've never even heard of the Shangra La berry freeze smoothie or the frozen jungle juice (have had the regular jungle juice at Tusker House, but never frozen, which sounds soooo good).

When I think of unique snacks at AK I think of the chicken fried rice at Yak & Yeti CS and Yak Attack at Upcountry beverages. Yum, a perfect cheap meal.

Thanks for the input....what would you recommend instead at MK?
