Best value resort???

It will be DH, me, DD (4) and DS (6). I stayed in the All Star music in september with DD and it was great. We will probably book the same unless there is a better one? Opinions? THanks!!

We had always stayed at the all stars until a couple years ago when we tried Pop. This is our new favorite value. We are going to try Art of Animation in September following a four day cruise. But for now we love the location, the theming, pool, and food court at Pop. There are so many fun activities for the kids (and adults) there. We do book a preferred room in the 60's building. You can also walk over to Art of Animation to eat. There food court offers a variety of different foods.

I like the Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation better than the AllStars because I like the pools and food court better there. That being said we drove our car to the bus stop because it was such a hike....

There are 5 Value Resorts. You will get opinions that each one is best and they're all right. I've stayed at all but AoA and there's something about each one that I like but I don't know what you would think is best so I really can't tell you which one is best. Do a search for best value resort and you'll find countless threads on the subject.

I have friends who swear by the All Star Sports because of the more newly renovated rooms - specifically in the Baseball building, if that helps.

We love Pop, have stayed there twice and would stay there again in a heartbeat. This time around we are staying at AoA for 3 day and then POR but that is only because we are traveling with other families.

The All Stars are very similar to each other except w/ different theming. I like them all!
Pop has a better food court (love the grilled flatbreads) and a lovely walk around the lake--but it also has 1,000 more rooms. I find the chaos and noise at the food court overwhelming at times and I dislike "having" to walk through the gift shop to get to the food court.

I've stayed at each value multiple times (except AoA where once was enough). ASMusic is my favorite for theming and it seems a bit more quiet than the others.

Bus service at WDW can be ANYTHING at ANY TIME for ANY resort. I think the bus sharing at All Stars is WAY overstated. I stay at the AS at least 2-3 times per year and I would guess that we share buses 25% of the time or less. Even when we do, I see no difference in that and a moderate with multiple stops within the resort.

The pools are all basically the same--one main pool and 1-2 smaller "quiet" pools. None have slides or deep ends.
