I love black muzzles...I don't know why .

(I also prefer one side of my two-toned Boxer to the other so I'm a little weird)

He is beautiful! He looks tall (long legs) for 5 months old. How much does he weigh? Love his name too. Could he have some English Mastiff in him? Got your email!

We had an English Mastiff for 10 years. She was a very old lady when we finally had to have her put down. She was very loyal and very tolerant of the kids and pretty much everything in general BUT I also tought everyone around her to be respectful of her too. All dogs have the ability to bite, just keep in mind that with their size the have the potential to do a lot of damage if they do. Odds are they wont but the possibility is always there.

Another tip. When you notice the dog is almost standing on it's head to eat elevate its bowls please. Drives me crazy to see a large breed dog practically standing on it's head to eat at dinner time. They sell these items at any pet store or get creative and put them on crates or something.

Ok i will get off my soap box now. We our kira.
While our one isn't a huge dog, he is bigger than the other and when we noticed that he was standing there with his legs all wonkie looking trying to eat, we raised his bowl by about 6 inches. He looks so more comfortable eating now. But, talk about being getting the green eyed envy, the small dog stopped eating outta his bowl until we put it up off the ground. He has to stand on his tip toes, but he is happy now.

We just went to Target and went into the kitchen area and bought these to set the bowls on.

Thanks everyone! He is 47 pounds and the size of a small boxer right now. I don't think he has English Mastiff in him, but I guess it is possible. We saw the Mom & Dad. Mom was shorter and stocker, weighing a little over 100 pounds. Dad was taller and slimmer and they said he weighs a little over 100 too. I love the puppy stage, but am so curious to see what he will look like full grown too! He is such a sweetheart and is really coming around. Doing very well with the kids and other dogs so far!
