Arrival day ADR....

We have Chef Mickey's booked for a late dinner on arrival day.....I don't see many good reviews of CM's dinner (although I know we may love it!) BUT, if we were to reconsider and do something different, what would you suggest?? We would love Ohana, but it's booked (I check regularly). Cape May buffet sounds good, but a little "unthrilling" for the first night and we have a breakfast there later in the week. DTD is an option (Raglan Road, RFC, House of Blues), Boatwright's might be good (we will be at POR), Biergarten or Coral Reef. I like the idea of going to Epcot or DTD on arrival night. Another idea is Whispering Canyon but we have HDDR scheduled for later in the week and I don't want to mess that up by them being too similar.

Raglan Road and the Biergarten are two of our favorites and we couldn't do a trip to Disney without them. I have heard and read great things about Boatwright's, but haven't made it there yet. The Biergarten is a buffet and the entertainment is great, kids can go up and dance. We go to Raglan Road early so we miss the entertainment - we have liked everything we have gotten there so far and the bread pudding is outstanding.

With your kids, you might like T-Rex in DTD more than Rainforest - we had a good meal there and the atmosphere was really cool. Please keep in mind that neither RFC or T-Rex are Disney owned so Disney does not have all the reservations. It is easier to book T-Rex by calling them directly.

I agree with the pp. We never miss Biergarten or Raglan Road. Both have wonderful food and fun shows. We went to Boatwrights last Aug. and enjoyed the meal, Ihad the medallions and my dh had the blackened fish. We loved both our meals but I felt my portion was small. I think you would enjoy any of them, my favorite in order are Raglan, Biergarten, Boatwrights.
