Best Way to Follow Trip Reports

I am new and love looking at trip reports but I am confused on how to follow them. I notice people write that they are following but I wondered if that puts the thread someone special once you post to it? I also would like to see the reports without all the comments between entries, is that possible?

A side note question....what are "stickies" on the boards?

When people "follow" they mean they are "subscribed."

You can subscribe to a thread by posting in it, or by choosing the menu just above Thread Tools -> Subscribe to this thread

To find threads to which you are subscribed
See the top menu, QUick Links -> Subscribed Threads

and somewhere I seem to remember you can set an option to generate emails when there are new replies if you are subscribed.

A "Sticky" is a thread that the moderators have tagged to stay at the top of the list because it has important rules, news or reference informations.

If you mean you would like to read a multi-part trip report without the replies by people - sorry I can't think of a way to do that. If they break it up over time you get the thread over time.

Questions by PM are welcome!
