It is not censorship but a business decision not to carry a product. Because it is words people are all up in arms. This is not any different than a corporation not carrying a product tested on animals or a not carrying Paula Deen's cookbook (that is a book, is that censorship). They are taking a stand on an issue which is their right to do.

This magazine is availbale elsewhere. If it is that important to own a copy or read the investigative journalism of RS than by all means find another outlet that sells it.

No one is saying that RS might not write really in depth prize winning journalistic articles...this article may be the best article ever written. But they chose a picture out of many others that they could have chosen that appears to make this kid/killer look like a rock star. For many people that was an unwise decision on RS part...or not, time will tell.

More news stands boycotting

http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion...ng_stone_issue

By early yesterday evening, CVS, Walgreens, Shaw’s and Roche Brothers supermarkets, Cumberland Farms, Stop & Shop, and Tedeschi Food Shops all had announced that they would not carry the issue.

I also saw Rite Aid somewhere else.

But what if its the truth? If you are not ok with the truth, that's fully your problem, not the magazine's.
