I think you may have sold me on T-Rex. Have not avoided it, but seeing the choices makes me want to make the effort.

I'm finally all caught up again!

I agree with you about the castle lights I could just stare at it forever. I really want our next trip to be over Thanksgiving week so I can see all the decorations again.

I think its so cool you got to see the Halloween and Christmas decorations all in one trip.

We always eat at T-Rex. (except for our 2012 trip and boy did I hear about it).We always get the cheese sticks for some reason they just taste better there. We had the same dessert you did and I was worried about it too because I don't like heath bars but it didn't really taste like it to me. It was good!

The tea cups make me sick too and River likes to spin fast. I made him get his own tea cup and I got one and held on to the thing that makes it spin so that it wouldn't spin. My arms were very sore the next day!

I am so glad we tried it. It has a ton of different choices too.

How was your trip?

Claire is sold on T-Rex now. And since the food is good, I surely don't mind going back again. That dessert didn't taste like Heath to me at all either.
I ride the Tea Cups the same way that you do.

Love the T-REx pictures. I have never eaten there, but I have to say the interior looks intriguing. Is it still impossible to get an ADR? Maybe I can check it out in October.

Yay for an awesome pin code that made the deluxe dining possible. I do love deluxe dining because of all the great choices, but it is a lot of food.

I don't think I see any veggies with that steak.

I have finally caught up. I've been so busy. My "real life land" is killing me!

Pictures look great! I want to try T-Rex, but I'm sure Cortlyn would be so skiddish about it. I'm thinking about trying Rainforest Cafe next time though…

If you can't get a reservation through Disney, you can do some searching and call the restaurant directly and make a reservation. Apparently they hold some of their own ressies. Makes sense, since they aren't a Disney owned place. My friend called last year and was able to get a reservation from them, but Disney couldn't get her one for MONTHS.

We still had several snack credits that had to be used up by midnight today, so Goofy’s sounded like a good place to spend them.

We purchased several things, none of which I remember …I take that back. I know I got peanut butter cups and I think I brought them home with us and ate them within the next few days. I am not sure what else, but Claire picked a few things out too.
We headed towards the bus stop then.

Bus mojo was with us now! It must be the new purse bringing it on!
We didn’t wait long at all and soon were on our way to AoA.!

We got in line to see if our room was ready and if so, so we could get our number.

Lo and behold! It WAS ready and of course we never got that promised text!

We headed off and they told us our bags would be on their way.

Claire immediately liked the place.

You can call them directly. I got it through disney right at 180 days, but Disney only gets a small portion to divvy out. the rest are held by them
I enjoyed Deluse dining, but I was so full all the time that I don't think I will do it again. Maybe if I know we have several 2 credit meals, but only then.
I don't remember veggies either. They might's come on a separate plate maybe?

I hear you. I have a lot of paper work to do that I keep putting off because it's just not fun. LOL And I have yard work too, but I know you have a lot more going on that just that.
Claire was a little fearful of it when we planned it, but I knew she would be ok in there as it's not scary. You can even ask to sit in a less dinosaur themed area like the ice cave or even near the fish tank area.

And yes you are right. You can usually get a reservavtion by calling direct.

I agree that the Princess doll thing is creppy! I saw a display doll and it looked very weird!

I'm loving the Christmas decor, I'm so glad we went at that time frame!

Your at AoA! and Kadence is excited to see Claire and how she liked it. I had great bus service with AoA. Thoses deluxe resort need to take a page for the values!

She does look like a Lego. Probably because she wishes she was one.

We did like AoA. Claire loved it. I just hated how far back we were. But honestly it probably wasn't any further than we were in the deluxe resorts, but being outside made it seem further. The buses were much better there though.

So many people have asked me about my dooney.
This is the one I got.

http://www.disneystore.com/walt-disn...19846/1000291/

edit to add.....I just looked at the price online. That is NOT the price I paid. Not even close. They must mark them up online.

Art of Animation! Art of Animation! Oh how I love you thee!

I've always had much better bus mojo at values than deluxe. My theory is that it's because 1. you can't get to any parks any other way 2. There are more rooms/people at values than deluxe 3. people at values often are the saving money kind, and so will be less likely to pay for a rental car.

yes the Values buses are superior to deluxes. For the money you pay for deluxe each person should have their own bus.
