Dinner

Our dining rotation this time was AERR.
Our serving team was:
Marko - Server
Roberto - Assistant Server
Ali - Head Server

This team was much better than the first team that we had. Our meal were pretty much the same as last time.

Someone thought they didn't need an afternoon nap.

DNG wanted to get her some 'chair pictures'. I don't know why the arm is up.

Our towel animal for the night

We turned in for the night so we would be ready for a long hot day in Nassau.

Loving your report!

Your DGN's arm is up because she is practicing her princess wave!

Your daughter is to be commended for adopting not one but two adorable children!

Thank you for clearing that up. DGN would just say "That's how they do". She probably thought I was dense for not figuring it out.

I even have a picture of the Princesses waving and didn't put it together .

Did they let you keep the same room when you re-embarked or were you assigned to a different room? Can you request to keep the same room?
Just curious in case we ever decide to do a back to back one. Thanks.

Yes, we kept the same room. If the room is available for both dates, I believe you have the option to keep it or select another room. Our Travel Agent handle the booking so I am not sure how the process works.

Nassau - 2nd Time Around

When I left off, we were preparing for a day in Nassau.
RCCLís Allure OTS was already docked. Itís a huge ship. There was also one of the older Carnival Ships but I canít remember which one.

We packed our things that we were carrying off of the ship and went to breakfast at Enchanted Garden.

When finished, we got off of the ship and went through the welcome center toward the taxi stands. Once again we were offered rides on everything available. We told them no thanks we were going to the Pirate Museum. One of the Taxi driverís gave us directions. We knew it was passed the Straw Market so we had a general idea where it was. The directions that he gave us seem closer than.

It was about 3 or 4 blocks. We didn't run into any vendorís asking us to buy their merchandise. We did not feel unsafe because there were Police on most of the street corners.

The price was $12 for adults. 3 and under admission was free..

Arriving at the Pirate Museum

We stopped for pictures before going in.

More from the Pirate Museum

Some of the exhibits look like painting but they are wax exhibits.

They have these trivia questions and answers in every room.

Outside of the Museum

The Tour Guide

One thing to be aware of when entering the Museum. If you have little ones,. Warn them that when you first walk in, it totally dark. That was unexpected and freaked the kids out . DGS finally calmed down and enjoyed. DGD kept her eyes closed through the first section. The second section is upstairs with lots of exhibits. I did not see an elevator so but there may be one available.

DGS really like Pirates but I though this was going to be too advanced for him. He enjoyed it though.
We were behind a group that was touring so we could not go at our own pace. The guy doing the tour provided a lot of information and Pirate history.

At the end of the tour, there’s a play area that also have refreshments.

After the Museum, we went by the Stray Market for some more shopping and went back to the ship.

We went to lunch at Royal Palace and went back to our room to cool off for a while. DD took the kids to the kids club and she relaxed in the Spa. I walked around on deck 4 and sat outside watching the other ships.

On the way back from the Spa, DD stopped by Vista Cafť to get a frappe and some of the sweet treats.

Dinner - Optional Dress Up Night

Tonight we went to Cabanas instead of Enchanted Garden. They fix Cabanas up a bit for dinner. The lighting is dim and the buffet is closed. It wasn't as fancy as the MDR's but it did not look like the morning and lunch buffet.

It is much quieter and less hectic than the MDR's. I tried to get pictures of the menu.

I ordered a steak and I thought it was better than the one from the MDR. The only issue was that I ordered it medium and it was almost well. It was very tender.
Sorry, I cut it before taking a picture.

We were finished in about a little over an hour. DGN wanted to go back to the club so we dropped her off and just walked around the ship for a while.

We met Chip and Dale on the Midship elevators. They were in trouble because they pressed all of the buttons.

I let DGN stay at the club for about until around 11 and picked her up so we could go to bed and get ready for Castaway Cay the next day.
