Grouse Mountain Question

My family has decided we want to go to Grouse Mountain a day before we cruise. I've looked at the website and see they have pay in advance options. Do they only let so many people there a day? I hate to pay in advance and then have terrible rainy weather. My daughter wants to do the paragliding. Should we be reserving this in advance?

Thanks...Emily

I don't know about the paragliding, but we have never had an issue going to Grouse Mountain - except for parking at the bottom of the hill. There is a LOT of room up there and several activities --- birds, bears, lumberjacks, multi media show about the area, zip lining, going up the wind turbine, looking at the wood carvings, etc etc etc. As you are aware - some of these are free with your ticket to the top of the mountain, others carry an additional entrance fee.

On another thread i see that you asked about the Wind Turbine. I beleive that you can take the elevator (or walk - I don't know which) to the top where they have an observation deck. It was not "going" the day we were there a few years ago - was a pretty cloudy day and we could not see Vancouver from the top of the mountain.

That wasn't me that asked that question. We have a smaller DS who is not tall enough to go up that high due to the safety issues of the ski lift chairs. I'm fine with that!!! Heights and I don't always get along
