ADR Timing for Tusker House

DH prefers breakfast, I prefer lunch. Tusker House has breakfast until 10:55 am with lunch following at 11:00 am. Would a 10:45 adr be too late for him to get a plate full of breakfast food before they bring out lunch food for me to enjoy?

In Novemeber, we had a 10:45 reservation and were able to get one pass through for breakfast foods. Although, we were seated very close to 10:45, and did not get our picture taken beforehand. The second time we went up they were gradually changing to lunch foods. They left the kids breakfast items out the longest.

A couple of weeks ago we had an 11:15 and got both. So I imagine at 11 you could. We really enjoyed combining our plates.

We have a 10:55 ADR for this very reason. The best of both worlds, especially for DS who loves breakfast foods.

If you get seated on time, then it should work great. I was going to do an ADR about this time for the same reason. I got a lot of responses saying people had been seated late for their ADRs and missed breakfast and it was not a good idea.

If your husband is ok with possibly just eating lunch, I would say it is worth a try.

So do you pay breakfast or lunch price during this transitionary time? Is it based on your ADR time?

For the experts on this...I have a 10:55 ADR. I was already planning on arriving early for it. Will that be fine, or should I switch to a 10:45 instead?

I want to experience breakfast, get one round of what they might have, but I do want room for lunch foods too. (Tusker is the ONE place where I'm willing to stuff myself anymore, LOL, and I'll have done the TOT 10-miler the night before, so I'll be hungry!)

Any thoughts?

From all my responses I got when I have asked this question before, its really just a crap shoot if they are running on time or behind. You know how those character meals can get behind on their seating.

If it were me, I would go for 10:30, but probably at least I would change it to 10:45. My way of looking is better safe that sorry, and if you get seated right on time, you can always take your time. I have never been asked to leave a character meal before we were ready. Not that we have ever taken much more than an hour.

I showed up about 20 minutes early and they turned me away until my ADR time. I would switch.

I haven't seen Goofy. But I eat there for the food, not the characters, so I might have missed seeing him.

Thanks! I know I'll be getting in line ahead of time. Last trip we got in the LONG line right at our ADR time, and I didn't feel that that was the best choice ever. We were so hungry and spacey that I thought the lady in front of me was finished with the CM and I scooted up, and was yelled at by the lady. Eek, sorry, I thought you were done! (she had moved to the side and wasn't talking, ya know?) I don't want to be THAT hungry again.
