Another vote for Tusker House. I recommend going at Rope Drop and getting on the safari first, walk the Pangani Trail, then go back to Tusker House for a 10 or 10:30 reservation. You'll be ready to take a break and have some delicious food. If you hang around, they switch over to lunch and you can try some of that food as well. The server will give you your check but you don't have to leave until you're ready.

Looks like it is unanimous!
TUSKER HOUSE is the very best character breakfast. It is a must for us every trip. And as other posters have said, get the very earliest time so you can get have your breakfast and already be in the park before opening!
If you can get an 8am ressie with a 9am park opening you can be at rope drop right outside Tusker House and be one of the first on the Safari and then make your way around the park to Everest before the crowds get back there.
