Fla resident rates

Do you have to call to see if Florida resident rates are out for our cruise or can you look online?

On the website they also list them under Specials, Florida rates. Currently, there aren't many available.

Just curious, when do you have to show proof of FL residency? When booking or at port?

At booking. They have to have a copy of your license or some other proof that you really live here, and they are strict.

From disneycruise.com:

Question
How do I provide proof of Florida residency? I'd like to take advantage of special cruise rates for Florida residents.
Answer
To take advantage of special cruise rates for Florida residents, at least one adult on the reservation must provide proof of Florida residency within 48 hours of booking. Failure to submit complete identification will result in a cancellation, with applicable cancellation fees. Proper form of verification must be sent via email to DCL.Resort.and.Travel.Operations.Spe...t@Disney .com or via fax at (407) 566-7739.

Proof of residency must be valid at the time of sailing, and includes the following:
  • Florida Driver's License
  • Florida Identification Card
  • Florida utility bill with Guest's name and address
  • Florida voter's registration card
  • Renter's lease agreement
Note: A property deed is not considered acceptable proof of residency.

Within 24 hours of booking. I had to respond to the confirmation e-mail with a photo of my drivers license.

I booked through a TA and haven't paid in full yet - should I send it now anyway or wait til I'm paid in full?

If you booked a Florida Resident rate, proof is required within 24 hours or the rate converts to a standard rate. Maybe your TA already did this for you? I'd check right away.

Enjoy your cruise!

I sent mine to my TA and she had it for the next cruise I booked through her. Disney doesn't keep it on file.
