Disney Dining Plan prices 2014???

Does anyone know if the 2014 prices have been released?

I have found the 2013 prices but I am booked for August 2014. I am travelling with Virgin Holidays but working off the 2013 prices, Virgin seem to be charging a lot more than Disney for the deluxe dining plan (over £10 per person per night more!!!)

Also, is it possible to book my dining plan directly with Disney rather than through Virgin?

Typically, Disney does not directly release the dining plan prices at all. They are discovered by booking packages for various time frames in the coming year and then mathematically derived. (e.g. Price a package with tickets and no plan, price the same identical package with a plan.. and a few permutations to find seasonal upcharges and kids' costs).

We're expecting the 2014 packages to be released either in early July (like last year) or August (like the years previous). At that time, within a few hours most likely, the 2014 pricing will be reflected here and other active info sites.

Also, the increased price may be Virgin preparing for it, since they're not likely to have any real pricing either. So by adding well more than they'd figure the increase should be, they don't have to worry about underquoting people booking early. (For a business, overquoting and then saying "It'll actually be this much less" is far easier to handle and far better for PR than underquoting and saying "Well, we were wrong on the price, it's now this much more.")

Or, they could be right...but we'll find that out in another month or so .

to the disboards!

Isn't Virgin Holidays a UK travel agency? I know that UK packages are released before the US packages so it's possible this is the price for next year.

There's a UK trip planning board that can give you more information so you might want to repost your question there. Here's the link:
