Dang! I noticed it Monday morning. It was not there Sunday. I wonder when it sold out? Wow!

Edited. I posted on Tuesday so that must be when I noticed it. Wasn't there Monday for sure. I checked every day after the final payment date.

VGT rate

On Thursday morning (May 30th) the VGT rate was showing 1190 per person for the 14 day cruise leaving Los Angeles on September 14th on the Wonder. Later that day when we wanted to book it was not showing and we were very disappointed!

Friday morning (May 31st) the VGT rate was not available; I checked late afternoon and the rate was showing: We booked it! After booking, the rate of 1190pp was not available. We are excited about going. As I understand it, we will get our stateroom assignment anywhere from 14 to 7 days before the cruise,

I booked the VGT rate for the Hawaii cruise in October. I was assigned a cat 7A. I was disappointed but got over it. I tell you from now on I ALWAYS want a 7A and will be disappointed with any other cabin. In fact I'm bummed that the new ships don't have these rooms. I loved my navigators verandah! Lived the bench, the protection from the wind and cold when we were on the pacific. But mostly I loved my bench. I work sit there, put my feet up in a chair, read and watch the ocean (which can be seen perfectly from the bench). I loved the nautical touches.

How many passengers is that for?? That's still expensive. We did a 3-night last year 2A 1C FLR Rates in a 5A for $1200!!! That is expensive for a 3-night even without FLR Rates - yikes!!!

I have a screen shot of the VGT still being offered at 10:19am on 5/31. It was gone when my co-worker checked at 2:30pm.

I saw that.

VGT for Dream 8/1, 4, 8, 11 & 15

I think it's looking pretty good for VGT rates for September. This morning "my" cruise was priced at $1305. It was $1315 when I booked in February with the onboard credit offer -- got $100 obc from Disney for booking. I could pay with my Disney Visa and get $50, so I really got only $50 extra with that deal. I wonder how low the VGT (I'd even take OGT or IGT, probably) would be? If it was $1265 I'd break even, anything lower and I'd save money. Hmmm...I probably couldn't save enough to make it worth having to cancel what I have and play the waiting game though.

Anyone know what last year's VGT rates were for September 4 nights?

Seems like right now vgts are running at the same rate as the regular rate of the lowest avail interior on the same sailing. Of course I could be wrong...

I have been tracking the I O VGT's in an excel spreadsheet for a couple of months now. I'm pretty sure I have seen VGT's about $200-$300 less than insides. I am hopeful for September.

Thank you! That is quite helpful to me and gives me some idea of what I might expect to see for September. When I checked this morning the lowest inside rate was $210 less than I am paying for a 7A gty.

Part of my dilemma is that I am using a TA (Dreams). I am concerned that when I see the rate/cruise I want, by the time I contact her and she books it, the rate will have disappeared.

Still, I always enjoy planning and changing and re-planning my WDW trips. Not really having anything to plan for the cruise portion is bugging me LOL. The thought of the excitement of repeatedly checking for -GT rates appeals to me haha. Of course, the thought of ending up with no cruise at all does not appeal to me.

Have your TA put you on a wait list for the date that you want the VGT for. Give them your CC # so they are ready to book it as soon as it comes out and so that you don't miss it.
