I know that you are not allowed to share with someone that does not have DDP, but can you share with someone that has DDP?

Can my DW, DS12 and myself eat at a TS restaurant and share 2 entrees for 2 TS points (I do not eat much and this is usually enough for us)? All of us will be on the DDP.

At most restaurants this is fine.

At any All-You-Can-Eat (I'll never change to "care-to" ) and other fixed price (think CRT, etc) places each person will be charged (as expected). Also, any items that are "for 2" (e.g. the meal platters at Hacienda) must be purchased by 2.

Other than that, Via Napoli is the only one who is fussy about this and each person dining there must order their own entree. (I think Beaches & Cream also used to have issues with sharing, but I haven't heard anything lately).

I disagree, most restaurants will not allow sharing on the DP

We've used DDP 9 times and have shared many meals at TS (and CS of course) It allowed us to have enough credits to have some 2TS meals.

On the dining plan at TS restaurants where you order from a menu the only place we've not been able to share was at Via Napoli. All other restaurants allowed us to do it.

Obviously, the buffets, family style restaurants and any places with a fixed price (CRT, dinner shows, Akershus, F! Dining Package) require everyone to pay and will not let you share.

Follow up question. My plan for dining on DP is as follows:

Breakfast: Use one adult credit and one kid credit at CS
Lunch: Use two adult credit at CS
Snack: Use credits as needed
Dinner: Use all available credits for TS

Is this ok? You get so much food with the DP and I know we will have plenty to eat with the above plan. DH and D are the only ones that often want to eat in the morning. Izzy is fine with a piece of fruit and I only want coffee with maybe a granola bar later on.

Did some googling and found out I can split our credits this way. Awesome.

No trips planned for now but fingers crossed for DCL in 2015.
