Unfortunately, the water around the Nassau area wasn't as clear, and didn't have the marine life, so it wasn't repaired after sustaining hurricane damage.

Thanks for the information. It is a strange looking structure and it does seem weird to see it in the condition it is.

I wanted to do the comparison because there seems to be so many people who are anti Carnival and DCL is so much better just because it is Disney. Carnival's recent string of bad luck would never sway us. Many of those problems can (and have) happened to many lines.

Great trip report, thank you for sharing so much from your cruise. I especially enjoyed all your beautiful pictures. Great wrap up at the end too, and you are so right in saying a vacation is all in what you make it!

Trent's honeymoon cruise is on Carnival. John says he's buying them survival supplies for a wedding gift, just in case.

Just tell them to book a balcony, just in case.

Great TR, I especially enjoyed all the pictures. It looks like your family had a great time! We just booked our first cruise (4 nights on the Dream) for this December. DH is especially excited to find the sunken ship from 20,000 Leagues, thank you for the info on that.

I just have one question. What kind of waterproof camera did you use to take those pictures at Castaway Cay? Love how beautifully they turned out!

Thank you so much for such a great TR!

Glad you found some info that helped you.

The camera I used for the underwater pictures is actually a Kodak Play Sport video camera that also takes 5 mp pictures. I was happy with the pictures but some were guesses because the bright sunlight made it difficult to see the screen at times.

Wonderful TR.
Question, while at CC. Did they have any 4-5 person bicycles???

We have 3 young children, and it would cool if we could all bike together.

I don't remember seeing any, I think they only had solo bikes.
