DCL Lost and Found

Can someone who's had experience with DCL lost & found let me know what the usual turn around time is? We just got off of the Fantasy on Saturday, so would something left behind be on the ship for another week if found when cleaning the cabin? I can't imagine that in the short time that they have to get the cabins ready that they also have time to get lost items together and off of the ship.

I've left my sons shoe onboard one day. I called a few days after the cruise and they had it in the warehouse by the airport. They sent it to me within a week I think of me calling. Usually if something is left in a cabin and they find it it comes off the ship same day at PC and transferred. It might take a day or so to make it to the warehouse but it should be there that same week. I would call the lost and found number and ask if they have it. Its usually listed in a computer anytime something is found or reported lost.

Brought 4 2-way FRS radios on our cruise in November. We numbered them, so we knew that 1/2 way thru the week that #3 was missing. Checked with lost & found a couple times with nothing. .
When we got off the ship in Galveston, there were tables just before we got to the luggage claim area with several items found. There, in a zip lock bag, was that missing, identifiable radio! We still have 4 after all!
