Just because you don't want kitchens and washing machines should not mean you exclude DVC resorts because the studios have neither... you need to move up to a one or two bedroom villa to get the kitchens and washing machines.

I don't want to stay at anything with a kitchen on wash machine I'm on vacation. So no villas or vacation club- at least till we stay at all others first, then we will discuss again.

I'm curios what everyone else does.

We have stayed

Grand Floridian x2
Polynesian x2
Wilderness lodge x2
Board walk inn
Animal kingdom lodge summer 2013

Caribbean beach
Port Orleans
Coronado springs

All star

Looking forward to
Yacht and beach
We do split stays ... that allows us to try new resorts as well as our favorites all in the same trip.
- The POLY is the only deluxe we haven't tried. (We have visited though)
- We've tried all of the Moderates
- We're not really interested in staying at the Value's ... we visited the AoA our last trip and, even though we were very impressed, we prefer the theming of the Mods and Deluxes

(1) Wilderness Lodge x9 (CL and Non-CL)
(2) Grand Floridian x3 (CL-RPC and Non-CL)
(3) Yacht Club x1 (CL)
(4) Beach Club x4 (CL and Non-CL)
(5) Animal Kingdom Lodge x3 (CL and Non-CL)
(6) Boardwalk Inn x2 (CL and Non-CL)
(7) Contemporary x1 (CL)

(1) Port Orleans Riverside x6
(2) Port Orleans - FQ x1
(3) Coronado Springs Resort x1
(4) Caribbean Beach Resort x1

We use to want to stay at every resort on property until we bought DVC.

Before DVC we stayed at:

We no longer have this goal anymore.

We do plan to try out all the DVC resorts to find our which ones are our favorite.

So far, we have stayed at:

AKV - Kidani - in a studio and one bedroom and loved both.
BLT - studio
BWV - studio

So far our favorites are:

AKV and BLT. We really love the one bedroom with two bathrooms and the washer and dryer is great. I get to wash our towels every day and I get to wash my favorite pair of shorts and shirt and wear it more than one time on vacation. We have never cooked in the kitchen but we do love the full size fridge for drinks and the freezer for ice.

We are staying at BCV in a one bedroom and BLT in a one bedroom in June 2013.

We are staying AKV CL Studio March/April 2014, we will get to stay Jambo that trip. We are looking forward to it.

I would like to try a few more resorts in the deluxe category. I'm good with the value resorts.

On my list of resorts to try out:

The BWI freaks me out, and GF doesn't appeal to me at all, don't know why.

Mods: are ok I would stay at CSR but not CBR we need queen beds lol

I like the idea of staying at new resorts. My husband wanted to stay at AKL again on our next trip but I talked him into YC

Me, DH, DD8, DS4

AKL May 2009, POR RR 2012, YC CL August 2013, August 2015???

We may never visit WDW enough times to stay at every resort, but I do like the idea of trying a different resort every time we are able to go.

When I was much younger, I went with a friend and we stayed at GF. All I remember is it was very nice. This past November was DH and the kids first trip. We stayed at CBR in a pirate room and loved it, but it was only a 3 day trip and we spent no time at the resort. We did check out the gift shop after checking out. In 12 days we are heading back and staying at ASSports for a week.

I would love to stay at AKL, Poly, CR, and any of the values for the loud Disney themes.

We said no big vacations for 2014, but may go in 2015 and do a split stay.
Off Site 12/82 GF 7/90 CBR 11/12 ASSp 5/13 YC 10/14

Ever since we tried CBR, we can't seem to go anywhere else. We just fell in love with the place. Our last 4 trips we've stayed at CBR and I feel our next one will be there too. Every time we flirt with another resort, but just can't pull the trigger.
Us too!! We've been ASMo, ASMu, POP, CBR, AKL, and CR and we always feel home at CBR!!! Love it!!

I would love to; but we own DVC so now I am just trying to get through those! I am taking going o take a solo portion of our trip in 2014 and am considering paying OOP and doing a split stay between CSR/Poly. I've stayed at BLT, BWV, SSR,WLV, AKL Jambo, AKL Kidani.

I would LOVE to try all the resorts! I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone, I tend to be a creature of habit. We've stayed at ASMo 3x, CSR 4x, CBR 1x, SSR 1x and offsite 1x (never again!). I agree with you OP the kitchen is a waste for us at a villa, but we loved the washer/dryer that year because we extended our trip to go to Miami for a few days to visit family. We're staying at AoA this year and I'm torn for next year, but it will probably be CR...or Poly...or POR...

Or just not use them. Why do people feel they HAVE to use it just because its there?

LOL..That's true. It's not mandatory. There will be no Disney security coming by to make sure you have a load of delicates going and demanding you bake cookies.

Took us 11 years but we've now stayed at all of Disney's Deluxe resorts. First 5 years were GF only and then I fell in love with AKL

I've loved every Deluxe we've stayed in, Poly and BC in particular.

If you're worried about trying something new, do a split stay with a favorite resort. It's so fun to try them all
