We will be there that week, and had planned that for our second MK day (arriving May 19). Now I am thinking of moving our MK days to earlier in the week, and maybe doing F! at HS for SWW that Friday? How will the 24hr MK affect SWW at HS? Any ideas? We have park hoppers, so we could do Epcot in the morning F! and the SW Parade that night, we leave our Saturday morning unless we are rained out earlier in teh week and need to do something Saturday morning.

The only thing I would want is the special t-shirt that I am sure they will sell for the event! Other than that.....it is going to be a packed 24 hour park day, it will throw off vacation schedules for many too. Now what would make me happy....is if they WOULD JUST KEEP EPCOT OPEN until 10:00 every night.

Plan to get up super early (2am) and head back to MK by 3am. Snagged a breakfast ressie at Ohanas for 7:30 so after MK closes we'll take the monorail over and eat then back to MK for RD on Saturday and go as long as DS can stand. Then pool and sleep to get back on a regular schedule for Sunday.

I figure we can do a lot between 3-6am and 9-noon. Plus breakfast at Ohanas will be new for DS.
Hey we will be at Ohana at 7:30, too! .... only after that meal we will be heading TO MK and not FROM MK. Hope you have a good time!

We will be there but our flight is at 3 on the 25th. I'm not sure I can go through the night then go back to pack and catch the flight. One tradition we have is that we always return to MK our last day and staying all night would hamper the chances of that

We were there for Leap Day last year and had the bright idea of heading to MK around 10 p.m. thinking we may "beat" the major crowds (we had used crowd predictors and they were estimated to be light/medium).

Um...Wrong!!!!

Looking back, the mobs of people waiting at the monorail should have sent us running, but we got caught up in the excitement. After waiting for what seemed like forever to get through security, we were blown away by the mass of people on Main Street. We finally decided to leave after 45 minutes of being stuck on Main St like sardines. It took us another 20 minutes to turn around and make our way through the crowds just to exit. It was a nightmare.

If we were to do it over, we probably would have arrived even later...past midnight/ 1:00 a.m.. But, with our two young kids, it just wasn't in the cards.

Good luck to those who attend in May!

We were arriving on 5/24 and planning to have our first MK day be that day, and we backed our trip up by a day (we actually added a day, yay!), so that we could start with MK on 5/23 and bypass the 24-hour event madhouse.

Since this is the first time I have ever heard about this can you tell me do they have the rides open all night or is it just a dance party?

Haha! Look for me...I'll be the mom by herself with a sleepy 6 1/2 year old boy I'm sure! My parents have decided to come down Sat morning so I'll have reinforcements when we go back to MK Sat morning. They are going to meet us after breakfast.

DS is really starting to get excited about SWW.
