I am pretty sure they reserve some rooms for the GR however you should always have a back up resort and room type. Calling at 7 EST may get you what you want but having a back up is always a great practice! Some people have reported that X room type at x resort wasn't available at first but a few weeks late magically had one! If you dot get it you can always try back later. People changing may open up a room! :-) Good luck!!

You should be fine. We're staying there as well, from the 20th-27th, and we have to wait until tomorrow too. Just remember that right now it's DV users only, so most of the general public has no knowledge. By the time that they run the commercials tomorrow, those of us on the inside will have changed/booked already.

I also wanted to add that for perspective, we were at POFQ last September. Even though there was FD the parking lot was MAYBE 15% full, and I'm talking at like 4am. most of the rooms were empty, so I don't think we're in danger of losing our spot there.

Are the Swan/Dophin Resorts included in the Free Dining promotion? If so, are they considered a Moderate/Deluxe?

No, the S&D aren't included, and they don't qualify for EMH either.....sorry.

It may take a few days, but they will work it out and get your confirmation to you :-)

No, S & D are not Disney owned resorts and you can not even purchase the Disney dining plan while staying there.

They do qualify for EMH (Extra Magic Hours). No Magical Express.

I was looking at package prices today, trying to get an idea of what resort we'd like to stay at and I was wondering....we usually do the park hopper pass but we're not sure this time around. Say I book the package tomorrow with the free dining without the park hopper, and later on (before we travel) we decide we want to do the park hopper, is it possible to add it on at a later date?

Yes you can add it at any time before you travel or you can upgrade at your resort or in the parks at any time. Disney never turns down your money ;-)

I have to wait until tomorrow to book the free dining. We already have 2 rooms reserved at the Caribbean resort. We used a travel agent to book everything for us. Our travel agent doesn't get into the office until 9:00. So, of course, I'm freaking out that we will lose out because of those 2 precious hrs. Can I call Disney myself to get the free dining at 7:00? Or do I have to wait for the travel agent? I have our reservation numbers...THANK YOU!!

It all has to be done by the travel agent.

CBR is a very large resort and usually one of the last moderates to sell out. There will still be rooms available up until the final booking day of FD for some resorts. You should always have a backup plan, but really I think you will be fine.
