Longtime lurker to come out just to say this...

Of COURSE everything is awesome and the best. You FREAKING LIVE AT DISNEYWORLD.

I wake up in the morning, and have a craving for puffed French toast and a single tear rolls down my face. JESS wakes up in the morning, and has a craving for puffed French toast, and SHE CAN GO GET IT.

I catch a whiff of something that sorta kind smells like the Poly Lobby, and I sniff like a bloodhound while holding my ground and announcing "DO YOU SMELL THAT?" Jess decides after WORK to just pop into the Poly to get a Dole Whip.

I wait in line for groceries, or at the movies, whoopee. JESS WAITS IN LINE FOR SPACE MOUNTAIN WHENEVER SHE FEELS LIKE IT.

Rock on with your bad self, Jess. We're all living vicariously through you. You're doing this really well, girl child.

Hi Jess!

My wife and I have been following your college program trip report here for a while and I have to say you help us find a little bit of Disney magic every time we check the discussion boards. We are both WDWCP alums. Actually, we met on our CP 15 years ago this June and got married in 2008. We were both lifelong Disney and WDW fans, that was both of our reasons for doing the CP. We both returned to Disney after college to work because it honestly is a fantastic place to be all of the time and we both loved the interaction with guests and the amazing feeling that we got while being there every single day. I proposed to my wife during SpectroMagic, our table names at our wedding were named after our favorite attractions, we honeymooned in Disneyland (and Hawaii) and our daughter is not even 2 1/2 years old and has already been to WDW four times.

The thing is, for us, Disney is the epitome of happiness and fun and while life was not always perfect when we lived in Orlando we were always able to see the bright side of things and we always had fun and enjoyed our lives and our time there. People are always going to have problems with your very upbeat and positive attitude but that is only because something inside of them prevents the from being like you and they are very envious or jealous. All of the responses to the negative post(s) you have received should be inspiration enough but I just wanted to come on and tell you that we enjoy each and every update you have and we are also reliving our CP experience through your posts. Have a fantastic time, feel better, and we can't wait to read your next update!

April 29th-30th, 2013

April 29th, 2013

Thankfully I was feeling much better this morning because I had to go into work at 2 pm!

When I got home, I rediscovered the fact that I brought down my Full House DVD set with me! So I watched about 4 or 5 episodes and that show made me feel SO MUCH BETTER. I need to resort to that whenever I get homesick from now on. It makes me happier than anything else.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

April 30th, 2013 - Girls Night at Splitsville!

Today I slept in until 11:15 am. We had our final Hospitality class today!

At 6-6:30ish I went to go pick up my friends Kelsey and Emma from Chatham! We were going to have a little girls night at Splitsville!

Emma is on my left and Kelsey is on my right!

Emma is from Australia and Kelsey (who I have hung out with before but we never have taken pictures) is from Texas!

We drove there and we didn’t even have to wait to bowl!

It was great! We had a lane upstairs and we got to order our food right away.

I got the California Roll again and it was DELICIOUS. I had been craving sushi ever since I got better from my sickness so that’s what I had to get.

Emma got a cheese pizza and I split that with her. I pretty much had two meals but whatever. Pizza and sushi are like my two favorite foods.

Then Kelsey got a grilled cheese with French fries. That looked REALLY delicious!

We only got through a game and a few turns of bowling because we really took our time. LOL we were just having too much fun!

I ended up winning but my score was TERRIBLE. None of us are very good bowlers whatsoever.

After that we wandered around Downtown Disney Westside for a little bit. The rain clouds were looming over...

We then decided to head over to Magic Kingdom! So we drove all the way there and got to the gate when Kelsey realized she didn’t have her ID with her. That means no entrance into the Magic Kingdom. WAHH.

So we went over to the Contemporary and just explored over there for a bit. We talked to one of Emma’s friends who works at the front desk. Then we watched Wishes on the balcony of the resort!

After went to Contempo Café and got some desserts! I couldn’t believe it but they already had a new cupcake out! It was a chocolate cupcake with coconut filling and chocolate frosting! I had to try it because it was new and it was really delicious!

Emma got the brownie which was just SO CUTE.

Kelsey got a cookie but I didn’t get to take a picture of it.

We just hung out in the Contemp for a while because it’s just a nice atmosphere to be in. We drove back to Patterson and then I cleaned my room until I went to bed!

May 1st, 2013 (Part 1) - "WE HAVE STUFF TO DO!"

This morning I woke up bright and early so Mark and I could get to Magic Kingdom for opening!

We arrived right at 9 am and walked down Main Street yelling “WE HAVE STUFF TO DO!”

Mark and I were on a very important mission. He wanted to make sure he ate at Cinderella’s Royal Table before he left, however there are NO reservations left for the entire rest of his program. We were praying and hoping that one morning we could just walk up and catch a cancellation, so we decided to try it out this morning.

We walked up and I asked if there is any way they could squeeze in two of us. We got there right at 9:05 am. They were like “right now for breakfast? Sure!” SO WE GOT IN. TO CINDERELLA’S ROYAL TABLE. WITH A WALK UP. OH MY GOD.

We were brought inside and it was SO BEAUTIFUL. It was Mark’s first time inside of the castle EVER so I’m glad I got to experience that with him.

The first thing we did was wait in line to meet Cinderella! She was very beautiful – a poised and lovely princess!

After we took our picture we took a seat and waited for our name to be called!

We were called very quickly! We were escorted upstairs into the dining room and we took a seat at our table!

They actually gave us a table for four, so we could’ve brought two more guests! Ah well. You never know with walk-ups.

I'm obsessed with the menus. Excuse me while I take tons of pictures of them.

There was already orange juice on the table waiting for us. There were also WISHING STARS! I made a couple very important wishes during the ceremony. Hey, ya never know!

We also got magic wands! Eeeep I felt like a princess! (:

The boys got pirate swords! ARGH!

The meal also included your picture with Cindy! These are the new photo slips and they are very pretty!

Our waitress brought us over our basket of pastries for our appetizers! I had a blueberry filled pastry and some banana bread. Both were very delicious!

Our first princess visitor was Aurora!

The dress looked so good on her! She was such a sweetheart and we had the most adorable conversations.

Jess - how long of a drive is it from your apartment complex to MK, etc? Is it an easy drive? I am trying to visualize for the day my DD is hopefully lucky enough to be in the CP!

May 1st, 2013 (Part 2) - Our Walk-Up Breakfast at CRT and Starlit Splash!

Our second visitor was Ariel!

Then Jasmine stopped by! She had so much energy! She was like “we look like we could be sisters, don’t we?!” LIFE MADE.

Then Snow White was last!

For our meals, Mark and I both got the apple stuffed French toast! It was absolutely DELICIOUS! I had been wanting this dish for so long and I’m glad I finally had it.

We finished up our wonderful breakfast and then headed out to play in the Magic Kingdom.

I had to take a few pictures of the restaurant's exterior:

The princess herself:

There was NOBODY there. I couldn’t get over it! The weather was weird, which may have contributed to it. It was overcast, muggy, and in the high 70’s. It had a strange feel to it but I liked it!

The first thing we did was wander over to Peter Pan’s flight where there was only a 10 minute wait! We just had to ride!

Then we went to Frontierland and hopped in the short line to meet Chip N Dale in their cowboy outfits! I have never met them there so I'm glad I finally did. I am SUPER in love with the pictures. (:

Hoedown was going down in the background and it was like a Frontierland flash mob. I LOVED IT. I want to go watch that sometime and dance along!

Then we did a TRIPLE MOUNTAIN WHAMMY and we rode Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Space Mountain all in a row!

After that our early morning was really catching up to us. So we decided to head back to the apartment to relax.

On our way out we stopped and chatted with one of the citizens of Main Street. She remembered Mark and I from when her friend Victoria asked me to sing on Long Lost Friend's day.

I did all of my laundry which was a HUGE accomplishment. I washed my sheets too so I could get that sickness completely out of my life.

Then once my laundry was all folded I took a nice hour and a half nap. When I got up, I got ready and headed over to Mark’s apartment!

We waited for Sergio and then we went over to pick Lauren up! We were headed to Typhoon Lagoon for Starlit Splash! It was a CP event where they opened Typhoon Lagoon to all of the CP's from 7 pm – 12 am. Literally this was one of the MOST FUN NIGHTS of my entire life!!!

It was raining but we decided to go anyway because, you know, it was at a water park. We would be wet either way.

We got to the park, got free t-shirts, put our stuff in a locker, and then we headed on some slides! We did mayday falls and gangplank falls first!

Then after that we wandered around until we found THE FOOD. Expect nothing less from Disney – THEY HAD FREE MICKEY BARS AT OUR EVENT. Yeah.

We were over by Shark Reef we saw that it was actually open! We couldn’t believe it! Even though everyone (except me) was scared about swimming with the sharks, we did it anyway and it was SO COOL. It was scary going at night, though! It’s so dark in there! The best part was that it didn't even feel all that cold because the air wasn't that warm to begin with!

Once we finished, we saw that the buffet was open! So we got in line and I grabbed a bag of Doritos to snack on while we waited. The line was LONG. However, it thankfully went very fast.

I ended up having some carrots and blue cheese, chicken nuggets, and a pulled pork sandwich! And then I had one of the orange ice cream bars for my second dessert. Necessary.

After that we made our way over to the wave pool. The air was so cold but the wave pool was heated and it was THE MOST FUN I HAVE EVER HAD. Oh my God. We just stayed in there for hours. I was looking up and it was raining so I could see the rain drops coming down on us. For some reason that view just made me really happy. It was so simple but it was so pretty.

The waves were FUN. After all of these years of coming to Typhoon I FINALLY stayed in the wave pool for a good long while and I had a BLAST. You just need good people to go with and the wave pool is so much more enjoyable.

After a while, we got evacuated for an “aquatic emergency” because a girl injured herself. No one is really sure what happened but it was pretty scary! The eventually opened the wave pool back up later.

We just kind of hung out for a while on the sides and I was dancing to all of the songs. There were pirates walking around which was kind of awesome. Then they had a little fireworks display for us! IT WAS SO COOL!!! Seriously, Disney knows how to do events right.

After that, Lauren and I went to get our phones so we could take a few pictures.

THE PARK IS ALL OURS.

Lauren wanted to swim with the sharks one more time so I stood on the sidelines and took pictures:

We took our last few pictures by the wave pool:

Then around 11:30 pm we headed out of the park! We dropped Lauren off at Pop because her Mom and her are staying there... and it made me SO EXCITED for my trip with Lia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went back to the apartment, I took a nice warm shower, and then it was time for bed!

"I pretty much had two meals but whatever." #me

I feel like Gina and I will end up going to Splitsville. Plus you, obviously. I have never enjoyed bowling, but bowling in Disney with that food is another story, and plus we have non-park days to spend! :D

I can't believe you got a CRT walk up... like that is just unheard of. I WANT TO GO THERE SO BAD. Crying forever over it.

I'm so happy you had such a fun night at Typhoon! That is seriously one of the coolest things ever that they have a CP only night. Going to Typhoon at night is special enough but having it be CPs only is just perfection.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WE ARE GOING TO HAVE THE BEST TIME EVER!!!!!! 10 DAYS JESS!!!!!

I have been a lurker on all of the Frump trip reports for quite a while now but have never posted before this. But when I saw your Abby Lee Dance Company t-shirt in the Starlight Splash pictures, I just had to comment! I am a Dance Mom addict! I never miss an episode! I also watched Dance Moms Miami and was bummed it was cancelled.

I really enjoy your trip reports and just love the way you love Disney!

Good luck with the rest of your program!

Great updates Jess, as always. I'm so happy you got a walk up table at CRT. That's amazing. I remember being on the phone first thing in the morning when it was time to get an ADR for CRT back in 2005 for my 3 girls first trip to Disney. They loved it and it looks like you both had fun too.

Is that an Abby Lee Miller shirt I see you wearing at the water park party? My youngest daughter is obsessed with that show.

Keep the updates coming. They are making me so excited for our trip this summer.
