That is good to know. Thanks for the info!! I am going to start working on that this evening. You can online check in 60 days out now??!! Wow if that's the case I can check in now! I had no idea about that

You have been very lucky. Not only have I not gotten requests met, I have also ended up downgraded. Twice. Requests are exactly that, requests, and should never ever been depended on or taken for granted.

I agree 110%!! I HATE talking on the phone let alone waiting on eternal hold. i can get it done online in less time than i would have to hold. It would be so much easier and less time consuming for CM.

I did on-line checkin for the GF in January. I was able to select up to 2 buildings that corresponded with my room type (garden view). I chose Conch Key and Sago Cay b/c I hadn't stayed in either in 7+ years. I got neither. I got Boca Chica (which is actually my favorite outer lodge anyway )
The resort was busy, which I'm sure played a part. In addition, I was there during a small window of Value Season and booked under an AP rate

Don't count on getting your requests or you could be disappointed.

I would have to disagree that this would be less work for CM's. For every 1 person that would do it correctly there would be 10 that did not and they would be calling and complaining and blaming it on everything but themselves.

I'm actually kind of glad they don't. I can only imagine how many people would screw up their own reservations with that website, or even the old one.

I can think of at least 10 different scenarios that could happen with online modifications.

I wish they would too!! I called yesterday afternoon to modify a reservation and was on hold for 20 minutes..gave up..I had things to do. Called back today..on hold for 35 minutes to get a live person finally and then they disconnect me. I was so mad. Called back again this afternoon only on hold for 10 minutes..make my changes with a nice CM...finally. Most of us are computer savvy enough to make simple changes or cancel ressies ourselves. They let you cancel dining ressies on line..why not resort.
