Sampling foods in World Showcase

If you've ever gone around W.S. and sampled food from each "country," can you tell me about how much you spent? Trying to budget (2 adults and 1 child with an adult appetite - lol). I have this planned as our "dinner" one evening. Thanks!

During Food Wine items are between $4 and $8. Most can be shared as long as you each just want a couple bites. The portions are small. The only thing I can remember not being able to finish even sharing was the ravioli in Italy. They were 4 very big pieces. But it was a very hot day and maybe we just couldn't handle a heavy dish. Although it was tasty!! I would plan for 3 people sharing at least 2 items from each booth. So if you plan on 2 items from about 15 booths costing around $7 each you would be looking at $200+. And don't forget the drinks! But if you all agree on what you want to try and are happy with a taste you can cut costs in 1/2 ! A lot depends on how much you all want to eat of each item. IMO I am not sharing my filet from Canada. It is only about 4 bites and it is delish! And about 1/2 way thru you will prob be getting full. We usually do 2 days at Fw.

Thank you! We are not going during Food and Wine. Is it still fun to graze around the world?

Absolutely, it is still fun! My recommendation would be to get one counter service meal and split it amongst the three of you. There are lots of countries and I think you'd get pretty sick if you tried to eat one whole thing yourself. Our favorites are the fish and chips in England, the empanadas and churros in Mexico and just about anything from the Karmelhaus in Germany! Have fun and pace yourselves!

It really depends, if you mean a snack,or dessert,or a tiny meal, me and hubby have done it for around 200.00. But that was including some alcohol..so that gets pricey:O)

It is still fun to eat and drink around the World. My favorite is the canneloni from TG! But are you sure you won't be there during FW. I just checked the dates. Sept 27, 2013 -Nov 11, 2013. If your trip is October you will hit it! We are going the last week of FW. Nov 4-10!!
Have a great trip!!
