Mousekeeping :)

Just curious for those of you that leave Mousekeeping tips/envelopes... where do you usually place yours to ensure that Mousekeeping will see them?!? Thanks!!!

It depends on the room. I make sure it is in an obvious spot. I was just at GCH and left the tip right in front of the TV. I used a sheet of the notepaper from the room and wrote thank you on it in big letters.

We usually are in the room when it is cleaned, so I just hand it to them.

We just put it on the counter by the sink.

We leave the envelope on the bathroom counter between the 2 sinks. They always manage to find it.

In hotels and motels across the country and around the world we have always left our housekeeping tip as cash on the pillow at the head of the bed. No cleaning person has ever missed it.

I think as long as you leave it in an obvious place, housekeeping will find it.

We leave daily envelopes (in case there are different housekeepers each day) on the bathroom counter or the nightstand that say "Housekeeping, Thank you!" Often the kids color or draw flowers or happy people on the envelope as well.

We do this too. We have the kids draw mickey or something cute on the envelopes and write "Housekeeping. Thank you" as well. We usually leave the envelope on the nightstand. I have the kids make the envelopes before we leave. It gives them something to do before the trip and they think it is fun. Plus it is one less thing to think about when we get there.

We leave the envelope, marked "Thankyou Housekeeping" propped up on the table by the bed.
