As long as you are happy to go either way, that's fine. Please PLEASE don't make any permanent changes until after the official announcement. Regardless of what may be said, anything and everything can change. I'm not sure how some would feel come May 9 if something were different, but I think it would probably be a bad day. I've always said to make plans, but never do things like flight changes based solely on this sort of information. We can be 99.9%, but that 0.1% can sometimes come back to bite.

I'm one of those that are hoping for the extension!! We are going 10/29 or 30...still open because we are driving...until November 10. Can't wait! Are we allowed to post our dining ressies here when we get them? Just for fun to see what we will all be eating? I know on the other thread some people complained. I know if I see a post that doesn't interest me, I just scroll past it...not complain that it is there. (Which by the way takes up more room that could be related to the subject at hand...just sayin') Anyway, can we talk about our food? Or extra activities like parties? It's just fun and passes the time in the waiting game.

We've been booked (and paid in full) for a while, for September 7th to the 14th. I'm hoping that this does happen, because we'll upgrade from ASMo to Caribbean Beach, and also be able to extend to the 17th.

Fingers & Toes crossed. Thank you for keeping us in the loop!

We are going Sept 16-20 staying at AOA Lion King. My cousin (she's a travel agent) emailed me last week and told me that she can start booking May 9 for free dining Sept 2-25. I'm not a Disney Visa Card holder. Does the free dining value rooms ever sell out just from the Visa Holders?

While some room categories could sell out, you'll be fine. There's been folks call in a month after it's offered and still get their choice. With the Visa folks, if some category books, it can open up again when the public offer goes live, as they hold some back for that date. You may have issues with AOA but I doubt any of the others will be a problem.

Well that's good to know. Hopefully they will still have some AOA suites left. If not we will move up to a MOD resort.

We are going Sept 14-21, right now we are booked at All Star Sports (2 rooms... one for my husband and myself, the other for our adult daughter) currently we have the room discount. I'm going to try to switch to AOA LM room with the free dining... if that doesn't work, then will stay at Sports (give up the room discount) and get free dining and upgrade the dining. ADR were all booked at the 180 day mark!

We have had ressies made for AoA Finding Nemo since early March for Sept 22-28. However, today I found out I am a beneficiary to a death benefit from a family member who I have less than fond memories of. Thinking I should spend money on something that would make my family happy like upgrading resorts or saving money for another WDW trip. The practical, budget-minded side of me, says do the latter. Then again, this could be the one chance we have of staying in a deluxe while we are a family of six. But options for a family a six are limited and we do not want to do 2 rooms this trip because the youngest 2 will only be 4 and 2. Did look at AKV-1 bdr, but do not know if they are even included in FD. Decisions, Decisions!

Good luck Debbie! We were booked LM for that same week. But I was looking at that week after booking and LM was full! I got nervous and switched to POR. Fingers crossed you get LM and free dining
