Florida has lovebugs and Maine has....ladybugs?

Seriously, never seen so many in my life. They started showing up earlier this winter which is perplexing in itself. Now that the weather has turned warmer we are being swarmed with the little buggers. If one more crash lands in my face....

Anyone else notice an increase in the little devils?

We had in them big time in the Pittsburgh area a few years ago. They no longer seem a to a problem here. Unfortunately, we're now dealing with stink bugs!!

We are having a banner year for ladybugs across the border in New Brunswick as well. My husband has lately pointed out the mess they leave behind, so I have been trying to get rid of them as soon as I notice them.

They are not true ladybugs. Some Asian type... I forget the name

We get them here. The invasion usually begins Columbus Day weekend and we vacuum them up all winter (central Mass)

They are smelly and they do bite

Which is worse? Everglades or T4R12? Snakes and gators don't count.

Ugh..I guess I can deal with the pesky buggers because in a couple of weeks our super sized mosquitos will be out, along with their cousins the blackflies and noseeums. Blagh.

Seriously, if you want to get information out of someone who isn't talkin....lock em in a room of mosquitos and black flies. They'll talk.
