Has he tried vestibular rehab? I have vertigo and every time it flares up I go in for vestibular rehab and I am fine.

Thank you, I will mention this to her. I heard there are only certain places that will do this and I'm not sure where there is one here in Rhode island

Hopefully someplace close by... Having this therapy does wonders for me. Some people may need to go more than once, but I usually have a flair up once every couple if years and one session does it. Good luck to your friend.

To find one contact ENT (ear nose throat doctors/otolaryngologist) and ask if they have a balance center. It's your best option. I have known people to have luck with a chiropractor but with recurrent vertigo he's probably already tried that as well as the medications that typically help vertigo.

There's also a drug that's sold in Canada as Circ or Cerc (been a few years) that's specifically for benign vertigo (not caused by infection).

If you happen to be a lady and happen to be on birth control pills, send me a message. I had to switch for extreme vertigo.
