Tokyo Dining & Illuminations

Anyone ever watch illuminations while dining at Tokyo dining? How was it? I hear the atmosphere / lighting in restaurant at night is very nice.

We've done this for DH's birthday dinner several times and it was wonderful! We just made sure to arrive extra early for our ADR and tell them that we didn't mind waiting as long as necessary for a window table. Never had any problems getting the window in the past, but I hear they have changed the way they assign tables at the restaurants now. They dim the lights and the view was good. For us it's a much better atmosphere to be sitting there nibbling on dessert instead of standing in the crowds below!

You can see fine from inside the restaurant. The view is better if you just step out onto the deck.
