Be our guest lunch vs Dinner

We are going to Disney for our third trip for our daughter's bday and can't decide if going to Be our guest would be better over lunch or dinner. We are using the regular dining plan. Any input would be awesome, thanks!!

If you can secure dinner ADRs that would be great, but if not lunch is great too. We loved lunch there and had a great experience and wouldn't hesitate going back for lunch (and waiting in line for it either). Feel free to read our about our lunch experience (if you haven't already seen it).

I'm another vote for lunch. We ate their twice on our last trip for lunch. The food was much more appealing to our palates and our kids. We were able to walk around the restaurant and check out all the rooms. It's definitely on our must do list for next time too (for lunch again).

Another vote for lunch at BOG. We were there the end of Nov. and had dinner ressies but cancelled them after getting in for lunch (twice). The braised pork lunch was great (not expensive) and we were able to walk around and enjoy all the ambiance, take pictures, etc. so we saw no need to go for dinner and higher prices.

Just got back Friday, and again had lunch last week, this time at 10:45 with *no* wait - walked right in - was great!

Also, lunch is a CS credit when on the DDP.

The biggest difference with lunch which might be a big deal for some, is that the kid's meals don't include the cupcakes or cream puffs for dessert. Whereas at dinner, they do. Snack credits can always be used to purchase the cupcakes.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll check out the link to your lunch experience as well.

We've had lunch and dinner at BOG and enjoyed both.

Lunch is CS so no reservations, but you'll have to line up on the bridge. After ordering at the kiosk you can choose a table in any of the rooms. Your food will be brought to you, although you'll have to get your own silverware. The food was very good.

Dinner is TS and requires a reservation. I would recommend making the reservation as soon as your 180 day arrives since it is the hardest reservation to get at this time. If you're staying at a Disney owned resort definitely take advantage of the 180 + 10 for reservations.

The dinner menu is very different from the lunch one, but also very good.

You'll be able to walk around the restaurant and see all of the rooms at both lunch and dinner. However, there is a photo op with the Beast after dinner, but not at lunchtime.

Can the Quick service dining plan be used during lunch at Be Our Guest?
