Anyone hear anything about when ticket prices are going to increase??

I heard something about April... ??? Trying to decide if we should go ahead and buy know... I was just hoping to save a bit more $$$ and wait to see what kind of discounts (if any) Disney offers.... I have not heard anything about the increase since feb... Maybe they already went up???

Price increases (tickets) have not, as yet, increased. A while back, Undercover Tourist gave warning as to a possible price jump but as yet this hasn't occurred. The purchased tickets are good forever. So if you know you are going I would, if possible, get them. UT does give usually a 2 day warning in advance when a price increase is known.

When I booked our trip about a week ago the CM t5old me prices were going up in June
1983 FW, 1985 & 1986OFFSITE, 1987 FW,1988 DL, 1990 OFFSITE, 1992 CBR, 1994 POFQ, 1995 ASSp, 2005 ASMo, 2007 & 2009 POP, 2011 ASMu, 2012 ASMo, 2013 POFQ

Normally Ticket Price increases always go into effect on a Sunday. The earliest Disney will usually announce the increases is late on a Friday afternoon.

The only people who know in advance are some managers and high level people, the programmers for the ticketing computers, and the people who make signs and printed materials.

Often many of us who sell tickets find out when we come in and find that the prices on our terminals are changed, and the sheets we have in the booths to show Guests their choices are new.

For several years it had been in August, but in 2011 and 2012 it was in early-June.

(And, as a side note, I would not accept any Phone Center CM's information on anything except current pricing as accurate. They are well known, as a group, for giving incorrect ticket information.)
