Celebrations & misc

Does DCL (the Dream, specifically) do any sort of celebration acknowledgements like they do at WDW for things like anniversaries, birthdays, first timers? I know with WDW, they ask you if you're celebrating anything when you make general and dining reservations and they'll give you buttons and/or cards to celebrate the occasion. Does DCL do something similar?

Also, a couple of side, newbie question: I'm guessing basic toiletries such as soap and shampoo is provided, correct? What about extra pillows and blankets? That's one of those things what you can just buzz Mousekeeping for right? Do they ever have a shortage of them like they do on planes? There will be 4 of us in our stateroom so we'll need the pull out couch and pull down bunks so I'm guessing we'll have to request extra bedding, is that so? Do you bring your own room towels to the pools/Aquaduck or are there towels at the pools?

Thanks

Be sure to note the celebration on your reservation. And confirm it with your server, once onboard. They do have the birthday/celebration buttons onboard. You can get them at Guest Services.

In the room you will have shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and soap. If you need additional pillows/blankets, just ask your stateroom host. As long as your reservation shows 4 people, your room host is aware that all beds need to be made up.

There are towels at the pools.

We were celebrating two anniversaries last week. We noted them with the CVPs (disney cruise vacation planner) and had a nice lil song and cake and anniversary buttons (I keep my anniversary button on my purse as a happy reminder) on two nights of the trip. I think you can order a big cake too for special occasions. Saw someone do that. Our waiters sang to us. One said "how many years?" I said "ten!" And he said "no, I do not believe it." Now THAT is a smart server... Flatter the ladies!
