Question Navigating Parks with a 4yr old with BRKN FOOT

Hi, Im new to the board and have a questions. My 4yr old broke his foot on Sunday and we are checking into to the Poly on 5/4>
My question is about the lines at the parks. Is there a way to get a handicap pass that would allow us NOT to wait in lines with him?
Were ok keeping him in a stroller while walking around the parks but there is no way he can stand in lines with his foot.
Any Advice???

Most of the lines are handicapped accessible, so you would still need to wait in line. If you rented a youth wheelchair from a local vendor, you could keep him in the wheelchair in the line.

Check out the DISabilities board. There are options available. No front of the line stuff but you may be able to utilize the stroller as a wheelchair.

Go to Guest Services and a "Stroller as a Wheelchair" sticker/GAC. With it, you can keep him in the stroller through the lines.

A "stroller as wheelchair" tag is your best bet. There is no "front of the line" pass. The only people who may get to do that are children on a wish trip and even that isn't guaranteed. CMs may do this for them if they see the special identification they wear.

This. The good news is they make it pretty easy. You don't have to get a wheelchair or make him stand, you just get the tag and treat his stroller as a wheelchair. Even better, it seems that WDW (unlike DL) has mostly mainstreamed the queues and for a lot of rides he doesn't even have to use a special entrance or anything. The tag give you permission to use the stroller in any line a wheelchair goes in and you can have a nice, relatively normal trip!

Follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread.
Post 6 is about Guest Assistance Cards (GACs) and has information about using a stroller as a wheelchair.
As other posters mentioned, that will be your best option - all attractions except Swiss Family Treehouse, Peoplemover and most of Tom Sawyer Island are totally wheelchair accessible to the point of boarding. Most are 'Mainstream Lines' which means the regular line is accessible and there is no special handicapped entrance.
Using a stroller as a wheelchair would allow you to use a stroller in lines the same as a wheelchair.

you get a GAC card and also a stroller as a wheeelchair tag for stroller. will need to have child with you at guest services. where needed the stroller will be moved to exit for you. you will have to show the tag at each ride and the stroller in to the Land and Seas at EPCOT where stroller have to be parked outside. just be ready to show tag and it will be welcomed. enjoy your trip
