Bay Lake Towers

Do the rooms have hairblowers? Does anyone know if there is a playground (slides and swings) at this resort?I know some do. Also if we want to make a room request what would I ask for to have the best MK or LV/MK view. We are getting a 1 BR LV I think. Ex. What room number would be best, location, which direction? Not wanting to have a parking lot view. Thank You.

Yes, all the rooms will have a blowdryer. They are in kept in black pouches. All of the lagoon view rooms are really very nice. I know there are some LV rooms that you can see MK from. We had one a few years ago. Funny thing about actual MK views, you have to look past the parking lot to see the MK.

Not sure if you are still monitoring this, but I'm doing a bit of research on this myself.

Not sure what you consider "a good view" but after seeing a link on one of your other posts to the DVC thread that shows the floor/wing plans I got a good sense of the good firework rooms.

1brdroom, North facing LV rooms with views of fireworks are the rooms that end xx04, xx10 and xx12. xx04 are the toughest angle, xx12 is the best angle. However, xx12 are Handicap Accessible rooms so you may not be able to request them and if you have little ones, the knobs and switches to kitchen appliances are reachable.

Just to play devil's advocate, we were in a room ending in 21, and we were in the most "concave" part of the back of the resort. This meant we had a nice view of the pool, splash area, and bay lake, but best of all we had a great view from our balcony of the electric water pageant. We were able to see that every evening that we weren't in the Magic Kingdom for the electric parade and wishes.

There is no playground at the resort- the closest ones are at Fort Wilderness.

I requested even number, north side when I stayed there in March in a LV studio. Great MK view! I think I was in 7906.
