This will be our third year attending. It's so much fun!
Guess I'll be digging out my Snow White costume again. If anyone is looking to dress up as Queen Elinor (from Brave), I have a dress that I'll be selling.

What time does the party actually start? Trying to plan dinner first but don't want to waste time early either. First time for the party here and very excited! Thanks!

When we went, we did a late breakfast, then a late lunch/early dinner thing around 3ish or later. Our "dinner" was at Epcot, so it could be later if it was in MK.

That way, you can start lining up for major character meets before the party starts. We did the 7 Dwarfs first, and they came out just before 7. We were done before 7pm and were off to the next thing.

Here's our trip report of our MNSSHP, with the early dinner.

Going to my first MNSSHP this year, with DH and DS5 and our two friends. Planning on the October 11th party.

DS wants to be Mr. Smee, so I am working on his costume, but I haven't figured out what the rest of us are doing yet. I might just be a pirate with DS (I think we are doing Pirate's League that day) but I don't know what DH and our two (male) friends are going to do yet.

Hoping to convince DH to take a quick trip to Disney in September before he heads to Afghanistan. We would be there for the 9/13 party. Trying to decide if we'd rather do the party or Unleash the Villains at Hollywood Studios. Thinking maybe we would go to the studios earlier and then to Magic Kingdom by 8:30/9:00. Although riding Tower of Terror at 1AM would make my kids very happy!!

Tough choice!!!

Would I be able to wait and get tickets for the 2nd party on the 10th after going to the one on Oct 6th? TIA!
Ha!!! We are doing the same party nights! Yes, we are doing two nights as well. My DD5 and I are going just the two of us on the 6th... and the entire family (me, my mom, my sister, her son, and DD5) will go on the 10th.

From the sounds of things, if you want to do a lot of character greets, it's hard to fit into one party.

I'm wondering how likely Sunday, October 6th will sell out?

I'm thinking of not pre-purchasing those, as it's our arrival day and I only want to take DD5 if we get in early enough for her to rest first.

We are also going that Thursday, the 10th and I'm definitely pre-purchasing the tickets for that one, but for Sunday, I'd rather play it by ear.

I'd say highly unlikely. Halloween itself will sell out, and maybe some of the last few as well, but I would not expect one in early October to.

Eagerly waiting!

We're going with my husband's family (brothers, sister, parents, all of their children. O.O) for either Oct 10th or Oct 11th. I wish that they would make their minds up already! I want to plan, dang it! I already missed out on BOG which was my dream. I guess I'll eat dinner there in 2014.

I'm sorry . isn't there always a chance for last minute walk up reservations though? I hope you get some pixie dust and it happens for you.

If there's a dining location where there is no chance of a walk-up, BOG is it.

We're arriving 10/5 evening late and 10/6 is our first park day. Also planning on doing the 10/6 party. I thought about doing parties both 10/6 and 10/10 but it kinda messes up the next day too with sleeping in from late night at the party. I think we'll just go nice and enjoy f&w 10/7 instead of sleeping. Lol

Oops meant we are already planning to do 10/10 party. Was thinking about doing 10/6 as well but hate to mess up 10/7 wanting to sleep in. Sorry
