How's it going everyone my girlfriend & I will be setting sail on May 2nd on the Disney Dream and we're both looking forward to it. Now for the question, I'm planning on proposing to her and I was wondering where on the boat would be best? I've never been on the boat so I have no idea of the different locations. I was also wondering how often do they do the fireworks? That was my original plan but if they only do it during the pirates deck party then I want to do it differently. Thank you in advance

Palo or Remy would be nice spots. Be sure to let your waitstaff know and they can assist if needed with a surprise.

Fireworks only on pirate's night, but there is a good, and fairly private, view from deck 4 if you don't want to dress like a pirate.

What about proposing on Castaway Cay? There are several spots there... there's the adult beach (Serenity Bay) or if you rent bikes you could propose on the observation tower or if you ride to the very end of the bike path, there's a beautiful secluded rocky beach right there if you want it be more private. Whatever you decide to do... congratulations!!!

Last year on the Fantasy during a big family/friends cruise our son proposed to his girlfriend onboard. We all knew what he had planned but obviously she didn't!! He knew he wanted to do it at sunset up on deck so he snuck her away after dinner on Formal Night but each place he stopped to propose they were powerwashing the decks!!! He had to move a least 4 times until he found a spot where there was the view of the sun set and no noise or spray from the powerwashing. We were all waiting in Ooh la la with champagne for them!!

She was so excited that her parents and us were all onboard for it!!! The next day they went to Shutters and arranged for a private photo shoot on Castaway Cay.

Yes, I was thinking outside Meridian, or in Palo or Remy, at sunset. Gorgeous locations with a beautiful view. Best wishes!

We were parasailing on CC when someone proposed. He has his girlfriend go up after him and when she was landing on the boat, he had his friends/family hold up on a sign that said "will you marry me?". She was in tears when she finally got her feet back on the boat. Very cute idea.
