here we go again

Hi,

Just booked a quick 3 day to the bahamas on the dream. I have a luggage issue tho and need some help on minimizing my packing. We will have literally flown in from london the day the cruise departs and have one case to fit both our cruise clothes into. My issue is the palo dinner night. I have a tommy bahama knee length dress I intend to wear and hubby has tommy bahama trousers ( biege) and a plain tommy shirt( black short sleeve). Will this be ok ? We have zero room for suits etc. I am fairly sure when we did our 7 day ( we had on full evening attire then) that we saw people in Palo with the more casual look. Dont want to be turned away - very embarrasing

I am a dress code fanatic and I think you will be ok. Here is the link to the Disney page dress code.
http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/sh...c/dining/palo/

This is what it says
At Palo, dress pants and shirt or jacket is required for men and a dress or pantsuit is required for women. Please no jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes.

Maybe go be the first day and talk with the manager to give him a heads up.

I also think you will be fine. Saw several couples dressed as you described on our Fantasy cruise in February.
Tommy Bahama is a very nice look IMO.

I've also seen men wear Tommy Bahama short sleeve shirts to Palos for brunch with no issues. I plan on doing this next time.

You'll be fine. At Palo dinner we saw a few gentlemen wearing Tommy Bahama (or similar style) shirts. DH wore his non-patterned TB shirt for Palo brunch, I wore a Tommy Bahama wrap dress for our dress up night.
