It's better to call RR directly because you'll have more time choices. There is a phone number on their website. You can also do it online via their website.

I would. I have seen people turned away and have seen others get told it is over an hour wait. This was October so not even peak season.

You can book through Disney or through Open Table from the Raglan Road website. I have never had an issue getting the time I wanted through Disney.

Raglan Road is how we always start our trips!
I would have reservations. I also have never had issues with getting the times slots we want, but have seen the crowds build and people wait.
We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes with an ADR and we always book them through Disney. Save plenty of room for bread pudding!

Definitely make a reservation, especially if you would like to be seated in the main dining room to see the show. As we were waiting for our table a couple of weeks ago, someone asked to be seated in the main dining room and the hostess replied that those with a reservation get priority to be seated there.
