Dreams unlimited response time on transfer?

Hi! I booked our next cruise on DCL before we got off the Dream 10 days ago. We had booked our first cruise on Expedia so no TA. I've since done a lot of reading on the DIS and knew I wanted to have a TA next time if only for the OBC. I now realize I should have looked into that before we left for the first cruise. Still learning...but figured a transfer would be better than nothing and would have us set with a TA for any future bookings.

So I emailed DU on Wed. about a transfer. Kelsie emailed me back, and said that I would have to fill out a form and an agent would get back to me. My form was submitted at 8am on Thurs. (4/4/13). I didn't expect an immediate response, but I thought I would have heard something by the end of the day yesterday (Fri.). Instead all I've gotten was the initial automated response. From reading on here it seems that DISers already working with a specific DU TA usually get great service. Is there a way to contact a specific agent about my transfer or should I just keep waiting?

Was the form a quote form through the website or an actual transfer request form that you had to sign, scan and email back?

I just did a transfer about a month ago and it seemed to take a few days.... you'll likely hear by Monday or Tuesday.

OP - please accept my apologies if you are waiting a long tme for a response from Kelsie. I did contact her this evening and asked her if she recognized your request from this post and she said she did contact you at around noon today.

Thanks much, John! I did get her response today. It was in my work email (the email I originally contacted DU from) rather than my personal email I'd used to request my quote. Thanks again!
