Where do you payoff online now? Im going nuts trying to find out the link. Been looking for a while and can't find it. Not under My Reservations. Not even going through the link from my original reservation email.

This new system stinks.

After reading many of the posts, I am considering buying the gift cards at Target to pay off the trip. Our balance is $3000 so it would be a savings of $150. Does anyone know how many cards you go buy at a time? Also, I am a little nervous about if something happened I had to cancel. If I am reading right, the money goes back on a card, so I guess we could book for another time. I have never had to cancel but you just never know.

I just purchased five $100 Disney gift cards at BJ's and got them at 4% off! Room and tix are already paid for, so I am paying for meals and incidentals with the GC's.

i bought 62 GCs in my first trip to Target (savings of around $300). I used those to pay for my entire trip (airfare, room, tickets). I returned later in the day and purchased an additional 28 GCs (savings around $135) for food, photo pass and spending money. If you are using the Target Debit Card, I believe there is a spending limit per day and it's dependent on a few factors, including how long you've had the card. I used my target visa and just paid off what we spent so we had no limit other than my card limit.

oh, and those were all $50 GCS...$3100 worth in my first trip, $1400 in my second. The target cashiers were curious, but didn't give me any hassle about the number of them!

I would be using the Target Debit card. I have had the card for a year, but I have never used the card. My 45 day mark is around April 24, so I guess I would need to start purchasing.

We stack our Target red card 5% and our pharmacy rewards 5% to get 10% off all of our Disney cards for our trip. Easy peasy way to save on our trip!

Their website says receive 5% off a day of Target shopping after filling five eligible prescriptions. I wish I had 5 to fill!

You don't have to fill them all at once. I moved one prescription for both my husband and I to Target. It is inconvenient and not good for 'important' prescriptions since they don't have an online account to 'monitor' things. But with having 2 prescriptions at Target I can get a 5% coupon every 3 months and this month with the double points per prescription I will get another one after this month since filling our two prescriptions will be like filling 4 and I already had one 'left over' from the last 3 months. If you only had one prescription to fill it would take you 5 months to get a coupon but if you are saving over a long period of time it would be worth it.

Can anyone tell me how to pay online? I have searched and searched and can't find anything. Is this maybe only available if you have a package? Since we have APs, I do room only ressies so maybe that is the problem?

I had 5 cards and gave up on figuring out the website and called in to use them. The castmember was great and I hadn't told her they were from Target and SHE told ME that I should get them there & about the extra 5%! She also said that you can NOT use them at check in at the resort - is that correct? It seems unlikely that Disney would not accept their own gift cards at their resorts...

She is definitely wrong. I used them at check in on our room only reservation in November. Maybe she meant on a package since that has to be paid for 45 days in advance. I applied 2 more gift cards to our room charges after we switched to the package portion of our trip.

Definitely hold on to the gift cards because if you cancel, or rebook at a lesser amount, any credits would need to be refunded to the original gift card. If you are okay with the part of canceling your trip and not getting your money back, but having the gift cards for future use, then it's a good deal. I bought gift cards at my local Giant Eagle grocery store for fuel perks. They actually sell the cards in denominations of $25 - $500, which made payment a lot easier.

That's what I did. I bought the $500 cards at Giant Eagle when they were offering double fuel perks points on gift card purchases. They seem to offer it around Christmas shopping time in October, November, and December each year. Even though I didn't see the instant percent-off savings at the checkout, I did see a lot of savings when I was able to fill up my gas tank for free 10 or 12 times. I don't know if they are supposed to or not but the store near me lets us fill up both cars at the pump using the same fuel perks. So those 10 to 12 free fill ups we got were multiplied by 2 cars. I know Kroger has a set number of gallons (maybe 20 or 30?) per fill up, but Giant Eagle did not cut us off and the attendant said we could fill up both cars. When we bought gift cards for our last WDW trip we didn't pay for gas for either car for 3 months.
