Fantasy 8A 5518

Hoping someone can help me. Does room 5518 have the double port hole and solid wall room divider? Fingers crossed.

Here's the chart for the 8A staterooms:

Quote:
Deck 5
5018 (HA-designed; no tub) - no pole/no wall (big open room), no split bath, no privacy curtain, sleeps 4
5020 - "mini-suite" w/wall divider, no split bath, sleeps 3
5022 - "mini-suite" w/wall divider, no split bath, sleeps 3

5518 (HA-designed; no tub) - no pole/no wall (big open room), no split bath, no privacy curtain, sleeps 4
5520 - "mini-suite" w/wall divider, no split bath, sleeps 3
5522 - "mini-suite" w/wall divider, no split bath, sleeps 3

Deck 6
6012 (HA) - no pole, no split bath, no privacy curtain
6014 (HA) - pole in center, no spilt bath
6016 - pole in center, no spilt bath, no privacy curtain, sleeps 4

6510 (HA) - no pole, no split bath, no privacy curtain
6512 (HA) - pole in center, no spilt bath
6514 - pole in center, no spilt bath, no privacy curtain, sleeps 4
According to this, 5518 does NOT have the wall divider. The rooms with the divider on that side of the ship are 5520 and 5522.

Check out this thread, Dream/Fantasy 8A cabins, it has links to other threads that include photos of 5518. We're booked into that cabin next February.

I actually found it. Thank you so much for providing. After seeing the pictures I think we are going to change rooms/categories. I wish the room with the divider would be available. We have two little ones so we really want something that will separate us once we put them down for the night and naps. We will probably go to a lower level and get a room that has a curtain. It would have been nice to have all the extra room and the double portholes.

We just got assigned to 5020 for our 11-1-14 Fantasy cruise. I noticed these staterooms the other night and asked our TA to move us to a Cat. 8A with the wall divider, if possible. I didn't realize until the other day, that the classic ships do not have cat. 8s.

The rooms with the divider only sleep 3. A family of four would not be able to book one.

Well I guess that makes me feel a little better.
