Same thing with us! Our vacation balance was due and we had applied and been approved for the card. Gave them a call and they overnighted the card! Credit card companies don't mind sending out cards asap, faster for holders to start accruing balances!

You must have gotten a CM that didnt know what they were supposed to do then. You are supposed to put $200 on the Disney Visa in order to be eligible for the discount. It can either be the deposit, or if your trip was already booked using a different form of payment, you need to make a $200 payment on your balance with the DV.

Using Discounts

If I want to get the in park merchandise and meal discounts with the Visa, do I need to use the card itself, or can I simply associate it with my room charges and use it that way?

Thanks!

You do have to use the card itself.

All purchases made on the Disney Visa count toward determining reward dollars.

You have to order a rewards card through the Chase web site.
