ETA: Kimmar - maybe you can only do online check-in for one resort at a time under an account? It doesn't make much sense but, then again, a lot about the new My Disney Experience doesn't make sense!
Very odd that Don would say that. The only advantage might be if you listed an estimated arrival time. This way they make sure the Welcome Packet is downstairs with Bell Services who will then escort you up to the Lounge. The CMs in the Lounge get you checked in -- it takes just a few minutes.

No, you can do online check-in for as many resorts as you are staying in within the 60 day time frame. I've got multiple check-ins going!

Kim, were you able to get in using the link www.mydisneyreservation.com?

The website is still very quirky. I can not get my credit card info in so they'll have to run it at the front desk, but I have been able to bring up the list of requests.

I believe what I did was delete cookies, then tried the link again.

www.mydisneyreservation.com

Or, maybe after you delete cookies, the other way will work!

Be persistent!!

....I wondering if I should just check in 'the old-fashioned way', so I can see what my room location will be and change it right then and there, if need be...

I thought that was weird too, especially since we are doing Magical Express so they already know my arrival time. I've always skipped online check in, hoping that when I got there I may arrive at a magical time when they need a better room filled and I would generously volunteer to help them out

I certainly hope they aren't changing their CL check-in procedure. I won't find out for myself till August.

When you return from your trip, please post what your check-in experience ended up being.

I know the 1BR DVC suites in Jambo have a washer/dryer but do the 1BR CL suites in Jambo (non DVC) have a washer/dryer too?

Getting close to our 60 day mark. Should we do the online check in at 60? Why/why not?

I doubt it. I believe all the non-DVC suites (in all the WDW resorts) were made for luxury and not the thought that guests would be cooking, cleaning or doing laundry on their vacations.

DVC villas are a whole other animal!

I would (if you're not Club Level). At least this way if you have issues with the online check-in, you have plenty of time to get it straightened out! I choose online for non-Club Level stays because it truly does save time at check-in. Plus, they know when I plan to arrive (usually WAY before 3pm) and my room is often ready!

When I can get my credit card information entered on the website during online check-in, I don't need to physically hand the CM my credit card at the front desk. (Unfortunately, the new website hasn't let me enter my CC info )
