Gluten Free Restaurants

Hello, My family and I are going to Disney World the end of May. Both my kids were diagnosed with a wheat allergy back in December. They are very sad because they are afraid that they won't beable to eat some of there favorite foods or deserts. Does anyone have any suggestions of where we can eat?? Thanks for your help

Check out the disABILITIES! board. There are quite a few of us who are gluten free over there. There are a bunch of dining reviews and there's even a thread of just pictures. I've got a bunch of my own dining reports linked in my signature, including a bunch of pictures.

WDW is the absolute best place anywhere in the world to travel gluten free.

Short answer about where to eat is that in general the Disney owned restaurants will have more options than non-Disney owned restaurants.

I would make sure that the allergy is noted well in your ADRs. Also call or email special diets and have them send a list of the options at each park and hotel. I did this for my son'r allergies. There is gluten free pizza and pastas (Amy's Mac n Cheese is one) available. (407) WDW - DINE | Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com
