3 night dream question!

We set sail on the 3 night Dream on May 16th. Has anyone recently done this cruise that also partook in the adult night life? I have found on my past DCL cruises that the dancing and night life were influenced by the current cruise director as well as guest. Just wanted to see how it has been lately. Plan on dancing till 2 am every night even if I have to do so by my self!! Lol

Hi Ashleysm23, I am also curious to know the answer to this question. I have to say that in my 5 prior cruises with Disney I have never once checked out the dance club. We were always with young ones or parents. However, for our upcoming adult only Sept. cruise I would really love to get some dancing in there.

My family has done 2 family reunion cruises with Carnival and on both occasions we danced 'til we dropped in their clubs. Sooo much fun.

I've read the same things that you've read about the clubs on Disney so it looks like our group of 6 might have to 'get the party started'.

On our February Fantasy cruise the clubs died own very quickly after 1130ish. The cabaret show would end around 11. Dancing would commence and the floor was full for about a half hour.
I am sure every cruise is a little different but my guess is it dies down by midnight.

Good to know robhawk. It makes sense that it would fizzle out by midnight or even before. When you think about all of the fun things there is to do during the day what with activities, shows, dinner etc, no wonder most people are pretty tuckered out by 11pm or shortly after.

Of course here I am saying that my group will 'get the party started' but the reality is is that none of us are what you'd call spring chickens so we'll have to see just how much of the 'night owl' scene we will actually take part in or create and how much is just wishful thinking!

IMHO DCL does not draw a lot of the night lifers. It's just the kind of conversation held on a college campus or a tranding dance club. "Hey guys, let's go catch the scene in the clubs on a Disney Cruise". Ummmm, aint happening.

There are a lot of different types of cruisers that cruise DCL, but the most of the 3am'ers are on Carnival adrifting at sea!

It is difficult for those of us with kids not old enough to be alone to stay on the dance floor when the nursery closes at 11pm and the Club & Lab are the same time or midnight, no matter how much we would want to stay until 2am.

I've been on 3 Disney cruises and the first two we partied even after the clubs closed with other adults cruising without kids. On the last one the first two nights were awesome. However my friend just went on one in jan and said it was not like our previous ones. Her DBF wouldn't dance without a crowd do they left also! Hoping our party of 8 adults has a great dancing atmosphere in May!
