Looks like you got a slight upgrade to a 6B. Congrats. Don't know much about this room as I have not stayed in this category. This is at the back of the ship, so it should be nice and easy to get up to Cabanas on the Dream.

Here is a link to the deck plan. Just adjust the viewing percentage to find your room. You are on Deck 6, back of the ship!

Check out the room report section here or just Google that room number and ship name...bet the info will pop up.

go to:

DisneyCruise.com

Deck 6
place 6180 in the stateroom Location box.
And hit GO
You AFT pretty much in the very back top left of the picture of the ship.

Nice location. You should not get lost from there. Everything is forward!

I think the verandah is slightly less obstructed. It is right next door to the 7B. There aren't that many of them on the ship and they mainly had pretty big obstructions covering the verandah.

The difference is the verandah. It looks like the 7a would have had a small or obstructed verandah. In the 6B you have a regular verandah.

Look up the room report and check out some reviews!!

7A has a large open-air porthole in a balcony room.
6B has a balcony with a white wall on the lower part of the balcony.

definately an up-grade

Not on the Dream - there are no porthole verandahs like on the Magic and Wonder. On the dream the 7a's have 1/2 to 1/4 of the verandah blocked with the metal superstructure of the ship.

We were in 6182 right next door. It has a knee high solid whitewall then glass top. This did not effect our enjoyment at all.
We loved the room! Very convienient to Cabanas, Palo, AP, and night club areas. Little bit of a walk to forward areas such as adult sun deck and theatre shows.
